Create a Directory (a folder that you will store all of your web sites files in)

1. Create a Folder on your hard drive C
It is inside of this folder that you will be placing all of your files (web pages) and the images of your web site.

Double Click on "my computer"
Double Click on "C"
File> New > Folder >
A new folder will appear named "New Folder" and the letters will be highlighted blue.
Click in the square box under the folder and type over the blue letters to change the name of the folder.
Change the name of the folder from "New Folder" to your last name
Click away from the folder on time to accept the new name or press enter.

Now you will create a folder inside of this folder to hold the images
Hover your mouse over the new folders icon and double click to open the folder.
At the top of the dialog box you should see your last name.
File> New > Folder >
A new folder will appear named "New Folder" and the letters will be highlighted blue.
Click in the square box under the folder and type over the blue letters to change the name to images.
